The Handy, foldable and user-friendly video laryngoscope

The handy Pocket Video Laryngoscope (PVL) is a handheld and user-friendly video laryngoscope. Designed to provide a consistent, clear, real-time view of the patient's airway and to assist physicians in obtaining faster, safer tracheal intubatrion. The PVL is a more luxurious and further developed version ofour Medcam video laryngoscope.

Handy and user-friendly

The'one-touch button'controls all functions of the device. Such as on/off, taking pictures and video recording.

The PVL has an ergonomic design, a 3-inch display monitor that is完全foldableand rotates in two directions.

The screen shows aclear real-time image. Ideal for picture recordings and analysis during tracheal intubation or examination/treatment of the laryngopharynx.

Thedigital video outputis ideal for displaying video recordings on an external screen.

The PVL and theirdisposable bladesare available in various configurations and sizes. In this way, the laryngoscope can be used onall patients, from infants to adult patients.The blades are provided with an anti-fogging agent.

The PVL functions on arechargeable 18500A lithium battery. The 18500A battery is interchangeable.

The VL handle iswater resistant(IPX7) and IPX4 for the 3-inch monitor.

The laryngoscope has ascratch-resistantcoating in a stylish black color.

All PVL devices have a2-year manufacturer's warranty.

Models

The PVL is designed for daily use in conventional and complex intubation procedures. All models use sterile (medical grade polycarbonate) disposable blades.

There are two different models of the Pocket Video Laryngoscope, each of which isalso available in a Plus variant.

• PVL-I-01 (Plus)
  Suitable for babies and infants.

• PVL-I-02 (Plus)
  For adult patients.

PVL Plus variants

The PVL-I-01 and PVL-I-02 will also be available in a Plus variant (from 2021).

The Plus variant contains所有常规PVL的优点and has the following additional features:

• New MAC blades (Plus blades)
  These disposable blades are slimmer than the standard MD blades, more curved and available for children and adults in 6 sizes / 8 variants. Including a difficult airway blade and a Macintosh style blade.

• Produced in the Netherlands
  The PVL Plus is assembled in the Netherlands, which means that problems surrounding raw materials, import (China) and logistics are of lesser importance. In this way we have better control on delivery in case of force majeur. A CvO (Certificate of Origin) can be issued on request.

Disposable blades

All PVL models use sterile disposable blades, the "Single-Use VL Blades". These blades are made from medical grade polycarbonate raw material.

MD Blades

The standardPVL-I-01andPVL-I-02use the MD (single-use VL) blades, similar to the blades used for the Medan Video Laryngoscope. The MD blades can alsobe used for the Medcam.

The MD blades are available in 4 sizes. The MD bladesdo notfit on the Plus variants of the PVL.

MAC blades

ThePVL-I-01 PlusandPVL-I-02 Plususe the new patented MAC (single-use VL) blades. These new disposable blades have been developed using our own molds, based on feedback from practice. We have implemented as many wishes of existing users as possible. This makes them also suitable for difficult cases of intubation.

The main features of the MAC blades:

  These blades give more room to maneuver with the tube or instruments.

• More variations (6 sizes / 8 variants)
  Suitable for all situations, even where there is less space in the mouth / pharynx.

• Mac-3D blade (difficult airway)
  With an angle of 60 degrees for more difficult situations

• Mac-3M blade (macintosh style)
  A crossover blade that also allows direct laryngoscopy.

The new MAC bladesonlyfit the Plus models of the PVL (and theMedcam Plus).
